DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — According to reports, a body was discovered around noon Thursday in the yard of a home in the 1300 block of Petty Street.
Reports indicate a lawn maintenance crew found the body while working at the property. A weed notice was visible near the curb in front of the home.
It is currently unknown whether the home was occupied or vacant.
Dothan police have the area taped off as officers investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
