BLAKELY, Ga. (WDNews) — The City of Blakely has welcomed Rico Potts as the city’s new assistant police chief.
Potts was officially sworn in to his new position with the Blakely Police Department, according to the city.
“We are excited to have him on our team and look forward to his leadership, dedication, and commitment to keeping the citizens of Blakely safe,” the city said.
City officials congratulated Potts as he begins his new role serving the Blakely community.
“Congratulations, Assistant Chief Potts, and welcome to the City of Blakely family!” the city said.
