How does the nomination round work?
The nomination round takes place October 6–October 13 and is purely based on write-ins. Nominate once per category.
Why is my nomination not showing up on the ballot?
Nominations aren’t public until the voting round. The top five nominees in each category will move on to the voting round. In certain cases, when there isn’t enough variety in the nominations, fewer than five will advance.
Do businesses need to be located in Dothan?
Yes. To be eligible, nominations must be for businesses that are located within the city limits of Dothan, Alabama.
How often can I vote?
You can vote once per day in each category.
How are winners chosen?
After voting closes, the businesses with the most verified votes in each category will be crowned “Dothan’s Favorites.”
I’m having trouble viewing the ballot. What do I do?
Try clearing your cache and cookies, as stored data can sometimes prevent pages from displaying correctly (see instructions for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge).
