HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WDNews) — A man wanted on a federal arson warrant surrendered Friday, Oct. 16, after authorities deployed chemical munitions into a home on Griffin Circle.
According to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, deputies worked alongside the U.S. Marshals Caribbean Task Force to serve the warrant on Timothy Kuhn.
Authorities used a public address system to announce their presence and tell Kuhn to leave the home. The sheriff’s office said Kuhn came outside, acknowledged law enforcement and then went back inside.
Deputies tried to contact Kuhn through the public address system and by telephone for about 20 minutes without success, according to the sheriff’s office.
“Chemical munitions were subsequently deployed into the residence,” the agency said. “Kuhn then exited the residence and surrendered to law enforcement without further incident.”
