DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) – If you think bats are just spooky creatures of the night, think again. This week, Animal Adventures at Landmark Park is turning the spotlight on these misunderstood animals with a special educational event.
On Wednesday, July 17, families are invited to join the Houston County Master Gardeners inside the Stokes Barn at Landmark Park for a fun and informative session on the importance of bats in our environment. The program starts at 10 a.m. and runs through 11:30 a.m.
The event is included with regular park admission, making it an easy and affordable outing for families looking to learn something new during the summer.
