PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. (WDNews) — Previously inaccessible video images have been recovered in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, investigators with the department and the FBI have spent the past eight days working with private sector partners to recover images or video footage from Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible. Officials said the issues stemmed from a variety of factors, including the removal of recording devices.
The sheriff’s department said the video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.
According to the department, newly recovered images show an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Guthrie’s front door on the morning of her disappearance.
