TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WDNews) – Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the August 31 shooting of Florida State University linebacker Ethan Pritchard, who remains in critical condition.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) said the arrests came after a multi-agency investigation led by FDLE agents, the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, and the Havana Police Department.
FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass praised the effort, calling it “the epitome of classic law enforcement collaboration, helping to heal a community harmed by gun violence.”
Authorities said Pritchard was driving with two family members in Havana when their vehicle was shot multiple times.
On September 10, FDLE’s Tallahassee agents, along with its Special Operations Team and local law enforcement, executed search warrants in Havana and Woodville. Three suspects were taken into custody, and a fourth, a juvenile, later surrendered.
Those arrested were identified as:

Caron Miller, 18, of Havana

Germany Atkins, 23, of Havana

Jayden Bodison, 22, of Woodville

A 16-year-old juvenile, whose name has not been released
Miller, Bodison, and the juvenile each face three counts of attempted murder and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle. Atkins was arrested on a probation violation.
Officials said Miller and Atkins were booked into the Gadsden County Jail, Bodison into the Leon County Jail, and the juvenile into the Leon County Juvenile Detention Center.
The State Attorney’s Office for the Second Judicial Circuit is prosecuting the case. The investigation is ongoing.
