HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WDNews) — Three people are facing drug-related charges after Holmes County deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Mt. Pleasant Road linked to suspected methamphetamine activity.
According to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, the search took place on July 31, 2025, as part of an ongoing investigation into narcotics sales at the residence. Deputies secured the occupants before searching the home.
During the search, investigators reportedly found over 100 grams of suspected meth oil hidden inside a kitchen cabinet. Deputies also discovered drug paraphernalia and multiple baggies containing methamphetamine throughout the house.
The following individuals were arrested:

Melvin Murchinson – Trafficking in Methamphetamine; Possession of Methamphetamine

Angela Mott – Sale of Methamphetamine; Possession of Methamphetamine; Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device

Melissa Freeman – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
All three were booked into the Holmes County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
