ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — Drivers in downtown Enterprise should expect a temporary road closure as crews prepare for an upcoming resurfacing project.
According to the City of Enterprise, Conner Street will be closed from College Street to Harrison Street for the next couple of days while crews complete roadway maintenance.
Crews will remove metal left from old railroad tracks in the roadway. The work is being completed ahead of the city’s Phase VI Street Resurfacing Project.
Drivers are asked to use caution in the area and allow extra time for travel while the work is underway.
The city said the maintenance will help prepare that section of Conner Street for upcoming resurfacing.
