DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Bridge 5 at Forever Wild at Beaver Creek Trails is back open after recent storms knocked down trees and damaged the bridge.
According to Dothan Leisure Services, crews have cleared the debris and are continuing work to fully repair the bridge.
“The bridge is currently open, but we ask everyone to use caution when crossing the bridge while repairs are underway,” Dothan Leisure Services said.
Officials said visitors may see caution tape around the area while work continues. The bridge could also temporarily close during permanent repairs.
The latest update comes after Forever Wild officials previously announced Bridge 5 was closed because of tree damage in several locations.
Dothan Leisure Services thanked the city’s General Services Department for helping with the cleanup and beginning the repair process.
“Thank you all for your patience while we finish up the work!” the department said.
