DOTHAN, Ala. — Dothan Leisure Services will host its 22nd Annual Health & Wellness Workshop on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Dothan Civic Center Arena.
According to Dothan Leisure Services, the free event will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will offer health education, resources and opportunities for community members to connect with local health professionals.
The workshop will feature health professionals from Flowers Hospital and Southeast Health, along with more than 60 local health-related vendors.
Activities will also include a Fitness for Seniors Zumba session, a motivational speaker, free health screenings and other resources.
Organizers will give away $1,200 in gift cards throughout the day.
The event is free, and no registration is required. Residents can stop by anytime between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. or stay for the full event.
