AUBURN, Ala. (WDNews) — Beekeepers across Alabama can learn more about honey bees from around the world without leaving home during an upcoming Alabama Extension webinar.
According to the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, its At Home Beekeeping webinar series returns Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 6:30 p.m. Central. The online program is designed for beekeepers of all experience levels.
The August webinar will focus on “Honey Bees of Thailand” and will be presented by Amy Vu from the University of Florida.
According to Alabama Extension, the webinar series gives participants timely, research-based information and access to experts from the convenience of home.
The program will also include a live question-and-answer session, giving participants a chance to ask questions directly. Alabama Extension’s online calendar confirms the series includes time for Q&A.
The At Home Beekeeping series features university researchers and Extension specialists and is aimed at both experienced and beginning beekeepers.
The webinar begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25.
