DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Wiregrass veterans will have an opportunity Thursday to get free help with VA claims and benefits during a Veterans Benefits Seminar in Dothan.
Disabled American Veterans, also known as DAV, will host the event Thursday, Aug. 20, at Saliba Family Services, located at 301 W. Lafayette St.
The day begins at 10 a.m., with the benefits seminar scheduled to begin at noon.
DAV representatives will be available to help veterans with several benefit-related issues, including VA disability claims, pension and survivor benefits, appeals and denials, health care benefits, and aid and attendance.
The organization will also provide free veterans services and assistance with claims.
No appointment is necessary, and all veterans are welcome to attend.
The seminar is part of DAV’s efforts to help veterans understand and access benefits they may have earned through their military service.
