BRUNDIDGE, Ala. (WDNews) — According to the Brundidge Police Department, a Troy man has been arrested in connection with a July 4 shooting at Grown Folks Café and Lounge.
Brundidge Police Chief Ulane Jamison said Laquan Bryant, 35, of Troy, was taken into custody without incident early Friday morning.
Bryant is charged with two counts of second-degree assault and was booked into the Pike County Jail. His bond was set at $5,000 on each charge.
Jamison said the investigation remains active and additional charges are expected.
Chief Jamison said “this type of behavior will not be tolerated.”
