DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Dothan Police responded Friday afternoon after an undressed woman reportedly walked into the Publix at Cottonwood Corners.
The incident was reported around 1:30 p.m. The woman reportedly entered the store before later being seen sitting at the picnic tables outside.
When officers arrived, they began looking for the woman. Reports then indicated she had gone back inside the Publix and was in the women’s restroom.
Officers located the woman in the restroom and escorted her from the business. WDNews observed the woman being brought outside wearing a T-shirt.
Dothan Police spoke with the woman outside the store. WDNews later observed her walk to a police vehicle, and officers gave her a ride from the property.
The woman seemed to be very cooperative.
It is unclear what led to the incident or if she was taken into custody or detained, she was not placed in handcuffs. No further details are available at this time.
