DALEVILLE, Ala. (WDNews) — Daleville High School is asking the community to help stock its teacher work room with snacks and drinks as educators prepare to welcome students back for the new school year.
School officials said the donation drive is intended to keep the work room stocked for teachers and staff throughout the school year.
“Our teachers give so much every day!” the school shared. “Help us keep our Teacher Work Room stocked and ready for the amazing Daleville High School staff.”
The school is accepting individually wrapped snacks, chips, bottled water, granola bars, popcorn, crackers, cookies, candy, drinks and other similar items.
Donations may be dropped off at the Daleville High School front office or brought to the school’s Open House on Thursday, Aug. 6.
School officials encouraged the community to support local educators, saying, “Every donation makes a difference!”
The donation drive is open now, and community members are invited to contribute to help provide refreshments for teachers throughout the year.
