DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — According to the City of Dothan Government, Dothan Utilities’ Electric Department will perform work in the 100 block of North Oates Street on Sunday morning, July 26.
The work will require the southbound lane nearest the sidewalk to be closed from 7 a.m. until noon.
City officials said the project is part of Dothan Utilities’ ongoing efforts to maintain safe and reliable electric service. Traffic control signs and cones will be in place to help direct motorists through the area.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible, slow down near the work zone and use caution while crews are working. Officials said every effort will be made to minimize disruptions and reopen the roadway as soon as possible.
