OZARK, Ala. (WDNews) — Two students at the Aviation Technology Training Center in Ozark have been recognized for their achievements after receiving $1,000 scholarships from Friends of Army Aviation.
The scholarships were presented last week to Scott Sanders and Wilbert Burke. Both students were selected by the faculty in recognition of their accomplishments as well-rounded students and citizens.
Scott Sanders was recognized during the scholarship presentation. Pictured with Sanders are Friends of Army Aviation President Col. (Ret.) Christopher Carlile and Director of Operations Chief Warrant Officer 5 (Ret.) Randy Godfrey. Wilbert Burke, the second scholarship recipient, was not pictured.
Friends of Army Aviation congratulated both students on their outstanding achievements and wished them continued success as they pursue their education and careers in aviation.
