BLAKELY, Ga. (WDNews) — Shoppers will have a chance to stock up on fresh, locally produced goods this weekend as the Downtown Blakely Farmers Market returns Saturday, June 20.
The market will be held from 9 a.m. until noon at 2286 S. Main Street in Blakely.
Vendors are expected to offer a variety of products, including fresh produce, eggs, meats, homemade breads, sweets, elderberry products, jellies, jams, salsa and other locally made items.
Organizers say the event will take place rain or shine, giving residents and visitors an opportunity to support local farmers, growers and small businesses while shopping for fresh foods and specialty products.
The Downtown Blakely Farmers Market is open to the public and will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday.
