DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — According to Dothan Leisure Services, families will have the chance to spend a morning with mermaids and pirates during a special event at Walton Park Pool on Saturday, June 13.
The “Pirates vs. Mermaids Day” event is scheduled from 10 a.m. until noon at Walton Park Pool, located at 122 Walton Park Drive.
Activities will include swimming alongside mermaids, snacks, crafts, makeovers, and a guided pirate treasure hunt featuring clues and surprises.
The cost is $20 per child for ages 14 and under. Admission includes entry for two adults per ticket.
Dothan Leisure Services said tickets are selling quickly and encouraged interested families to purchase tickets in advance.
The family-friendly event is designed to provide children with an interactive experience featuring both pirate and mermaid-themed activities as summer gets underway in the Wiregrass.
