DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — PEIR Dothan is looking for volunteers to help make its upcoming Summer Fun Day a success for local children and families.
The organization is seeking community members willing to assist with activities, games, event setup and cleanup during the PEIR Summer Fun Day, scheduled for Friday, July 10, 2026.
The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at PEIR Dothan, located at 1930 Wise Drive in Dothan.
According to PEIR Dothan, volunteers are needed to help lead crafts, games and fun stations, assist with decorating and preparing for the event, support guests and activities during the celebration, and help with cleanup once the event concludes.
The Summer Fun Day will feature beads, bubbles and an ice cream bash, with organizers aiming to provide a fun, safe and memorable experience for children and families in the community.
PEIR, which stands for People Engaged in Recovery, focuses on building stronger families and brighter futures through community support and recovery services.
