DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — The Wiregrass Black History Channel is inviting the community to an evening of culture, education and celebration tonight, Feb. 19, during its Black History Presentation.
The free event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the George Washington Carver Interpretive Museum, located at 305 N. Foster St.
Organizers say the program will highlight the legacy, achievements and ongoing contributions of Black Americans while providing an engaging space for community connection.
The evening will feature a special performance by the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church Youth Choir, along with two premier vendors on site. Refreshments will also be served.
Residents are encouraged to attend and bring a friend for what organizers describe as a meaningful and uplifting experience.
The event is free and open to the public.
