DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Solomon Park is closed beginning today for scheduled maintenance.
According to a press release from the City of Dothan Department of Leisure Services the park at 1815 Choctaw St. closed at sunrise Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026. It is set to reopen at sunrise Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.
City officials said the temporary closure allows staff to complete necessary maintenance to keep the park safe and well-maintained for visitors.
Officials thanked the public for their patience during the brief closure.
