HEADLAND, Ala. (WDNews) — Lifted Higher Ministries Thrift Shop will host a free community shopping day Saturday as the organization celebrates nine years of service in the Wiregrass.
The event is set for Feb. 21 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 12 East Church St., located on the Square in HEADLAND.
Organizers say families can participate by making a cash donation of any amount. In return, a family of four will receive one brown paper bag to fill with items from the thrift store. Additional bags will be available for larger families.
All donations will support Lifted Higher Ministries and its continued outreach efforts in the community.
Organizers say the day is designed to bring families together while providing affordable access to clothing and household goods. Community members are invited to attend and take part in the celebration.
