OZARK, Ala. (WDNews) — A hands-on women’s self-defense class is coming to Ozark next month, offering teens and adults practical skills designed to build confidence and improve personal safety.
Refuge Martial Arts will host the 90-minute class on March 7 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per person.
Organizers say the class will focus on real-world techniques and strategies women can use to protect themselves. Instructors Nikita Boling, Heather Rice and Chief Instructor Chad Hamm will lead the two-part session.
Participants will learn situational awareness, self-confidence, assault deterrence, personal safety management and problem-solving skills.
The class will be held at 347 N. Merrick Ave. in Ozark.
