DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — A new independent living program in Dothan is offering affordable shared housing for low-income individuals and veterans transitioning out of homelessness.
Safe Haven Solution Independent Living Program is now accepting residents, advertising rooms starting at $750 per month with no credit check required.
Program organizers say the housing is designed to serve veterans, seniors, low-income clients and individuals who are homeless or displaced but have guaranteed income.
Rent includes furnished rooms with twin beds and linens, washer and dryer access, use of common areas and all utilities. The home also provides a drug- and alcohol-free environment, 24/7 security cameras and a welcome basket for new residents.
