DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) – The City of Dothan announced that a sanitary sewer project will require temporary lane closures at the intersection of East Main Street and Saint Andrews Street.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, contractors will close the center two lanes of East Main Street, along with a portion of the northbound lane at the 100 block of South Saint Andrews Street near the railroad track. The southbound lane of South Saint Andrews Street will remain open, with flaggers directing traffic in both directions.
The closure is expected to remain in effect until 12 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29.
Traffic cones, signs, sign boards, and officers will be in place to guide motorists. Drivers are urged to use caution and watch for crews working in the area.
