ATHENS, Ala. (WDNews) – Governor Kay Ivey is scheduled to deliver remarks Wednesday at the Athens-Limestone County Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
The event will take place at the Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives beginning at 11:30 a.m., with the governor’s remarks expected around noon.
As the Labor Day weekend approaches, Ivey is expected to highlight Alabama’s workforce and recent economic momentum in the Athens-Limestone County area. Her speech is also anticipated to address state progress in infrastructure, public safety, and education, while noting her priorities for the coming year.
The luncheon will be held at 114 Pryor St. W. in Athens.
