PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WDNews) — The Panama City Beach Police Department is investigating a deadly balcony fall at Sunbird Condominiums.
Authorities said the incident happened Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, around 9:32 a.m. when officers responded to a 911 call reporting a fall from a balcony on Thomas Drive.
When officers arrived, they found the victim with injuries consistent with a traumatic fall. Police and Fire Rescue crews provided life-saving aid before the individual was taken to Ascension Sacred Heart Emergency Care, where they were later pronounced dead.
The case remains under investigation. Police have not released the victim’s identity, and no further details are available.
