DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) – The City of Dothan’s Information Technology Department will conduct scheduled computer system maintenance on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., as part of an internet service provider changeover.
Officials say employees and residents may experience brief disruptions when accessing city websites during the maintenance window. The work is expected to cause several short periods of reduced connectivity, each lasting two to three minutes.
The upgrade will switch the city to a new internet service provider, which is expected to improve overall speed and connectivity.
