DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) – A local nonprofit is asking Wiregrass residents to consider donating unused vehicles to help veterans in need.
B.R.A.V.E., which stands for Battle Buddies Ready to Assist Veterans Everywhere, is collecting cars, trucks, and other vehicles—even those that aren’t running. Some vehicles will be repaired and given to veterans, while others may be scrapped, with proceeds going directly toward assistance programs.
Organizers say vehicles do not need to be in perfect condition to be useful. Every donation, regardless of condition, has the potential to support a veteran’s needs.
All vehicles must have a clean title, and donors will be provided a receipt for tax purposes. Residents with a vehicle sitting unused in a yard or driveway are encouraged to reach out here and learn how they can help.
