WETUMPKA, Ala. — A $5,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the location of a Wetumpka man who has been missing since late August.
According to a CrimeStoppers release, the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for William Austin Mathews.
Deputies responded to the Nixon’s Nook area of Wetumpka on Aug. 31 after Mathews was reported missing by his parents. His father told authorities he last saw Mathews at their residence around 11 a.m. Aug. 29.
