New Statewide Guide Highlights Mental Health Resources

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — The Alabama Department of Public Health is encouraging residents to take advantage of a new resource designed to connect individuals and families with health and mental health services across the state.

According to ADPH, the Alabama Department of Mental Health has been featured in the newly released PULSE Health Resource Guide, which includes information on mental health services and support available to Alabamians.

The guide was released in digital format in June, with printed copies arriving June 20. State officials say the publication is intended to serve as a valuable resource for individuals and families seeking health-related information and services.

In addition to being available in clinics and doctors’ offices, the PULSE Health Resource Guide is being mailed directly to homes throughout Alabama, with a focus on reaching residents in rural communities where access to healthcare information can be more limited.

ADPH is encouraging residents to review the guide and share it with others who may benefit from the information it provides.

The digital version of the PULSE Health Resource Guide is available online at: https://buff.ly/t7lvQgc.
