DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) – Downtown Dothan is getting ready for a day of fall fun as Boo Fest returns Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Porter Park Events Plaza and along North St. Andrews Street.
The family-friendly event will feature costume contests, a local celebrity pie-eating contest, trick-or-treating from booth to booth, food trucks, games, and local vendors. Admission is free, though some activities and items will be available for purchase. Organizers say this year’s Boo Fest adds a new feature for children—trick-or-treating from vendor to vendor, including small businesses, community groups, and city departments.
Families can also enjoy live games, activities and plenty of food and shopping opportunities while celebrating in the heart of downtown. Boo Fest is open to all ages, with prizes awarded for creative, funny, and spooky costumes.
