DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) – A man was found dead early Saturday morning in the drivers seat of his car in Dothan
According to Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd, a passing driver called 911 around 3 a.m. after spotting a man who appeared to be unconscious at a stop sign on West Powell Street.
Police arrived to find the vehicle still in drive with the man’s foot on the brake. Officers pulled him from the car and began CPR, but Byrd pronounced him dead at the scene.
The man, believed to be about 41 years old, has not yet been identified publicly. District Attorney Russ Goodman ordered an autopsy due to his age and the lack of an immediate cause of death.
