DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) – The Wiregrass Museum of Art is now offering 14 Literacy Curriculum Kits that combine reading, writing, and art—all aligned with Alabama state standards for PreK through 3rd grade.
Each kit features a storybook, a related art project with supplies for up to 36 students, and a writing activity. For younger learners, prewriting practice is included. Every kit also comes with a fun extension activity such as a word search, scramble, crossword, or matching game.
Who Can Use the Kits?
- Teachers can check out kits for classroom use and will need to print handouts.
- Parents can modify the kits for use with 1 to 6 children and also must print handouts unless noted otherwise.
