Dothan, Ala. (WDNews) – Three Wiregrass-connected healthcare leaders have been elected as Members-at-Large to the Alabama Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees, further strengthening the region’s voice in statewide healthcare decisions.
Jeff Brannon of Flowers Hospital, Margaret Futch of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan, and Keith Granger, also of Flowers Hospital, were officially elected during the Association’s recent Annual Meeting in Montgomery.
“These three individuals bring decades of experience, strategic insight and a deep passion for healthcare,” Dr. Donald E. Williamson, president of the Alabama Hospital Association, said. “Their continued involvement will enrich the work of our Board and strengthen the Association’s efforts on behalf of patients and providers across the state.”
Brannon, a Hartford native and current Vice President of Business Development at Flowers Hospital, has over 40 years in the healthcare field, including a recent term as the hospital’s CEO. He previously served as Chair of the AlaHA Board and continues to serve on multiple state and national committees.
Futch brings more than four decades of healthcare leadership to the board. With over 30 years at Encompass Health of Dothan, she has held leadership roles at both the regional and state level, including serving as chair of AlaHA’s Rehab Constituency Section.
Granger, a former CEO of both Flowers Hospital and Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, has long been a recognized name in Alabama’s hospital community. He has led award-winning facilities and has served on multiple national and state healthcare boards.
The Alabama Hospital Association, established in 1921, represents hospitals and health systems across the state and advocates for policies that improve healthcare access quality, and sustainability.
