REHOBETH, Ala. (WDNews) – The 6th Annual Red, White & Boom Independence Day event is set for Saturday, June 28, bringing a full day of music, food, fun and fireworks.
Gates open at 3 p.m. at Rehobeth High School Stadium, with free entry for everyone who brings a canned good, benefiting the Southeast Alabama Baptist Association. The evening will feature live performances by Crews Wright, Ashley Walls and headliner JonBoy Storey, plus a special guest appearance just before the fireworks.
Families can enjoy food trucks and retail vendors. Helicopter rides (pre-sold only) will run from 2 to 7 p.m. near the fire station.
A VIP lounge, cooled tents and shaded seating areas will also be available.
Event organizers remind attendees that fireworks begin promptly at 9:05 p.m. Parking is available off Malvern Road and near the South Park entrance, with designated areas for handicap and VIP access.
