earth, blood drive, blood donation

Enterprise, Ala. (WDNews) – In response to the community’s summer blood shortage, the City of Enterprise is joining forces with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers to host a blood drive. Mark your calendars for Monday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the overflow parking lot of the Enterprise Farmers Market.

LifeSouth notes that while 37% of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood, less than 10% do so annually. With busy summer schedules and holidays, the need for donors is even more pressing.
