Ozark Head Start Now Accepting Applications for 2024-2025

OZARK, Ala (WDNews) – The Organized Community Action Program, Inc. is welcoming applications for its Head Start and Early Head Start programs for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This opportunity is open to children aged 16 months and older, providing a comprehensive, no-cost early childhood education program to those who qualify.

Parents and guardians can initiate the registration process online or visit the Ozark Head Start office at 405 Marvin Parker Rd. Required documents include proof of birth, current income verification, and immunization records.

This program offers full-day services with a research-based curriculum, highly trained staff, nutritious meals and snacks, and extensive family support services. Additionally, it focuses on nutrition, healthy development, mental and dental health.

Serving several counties including Bullock, Butler, Coffee, Crenshaw, Dale, and Pike, the program is available at various locations such as Brundidge, Elba, Enterprise, Georgiana, Greenville, Luverne, Ozark, Troy, and Union Springs. Some locations provide both Early Head Start and Regular Head Start services.
