Geneva County Public Fishing Lake in south Alabama

GENEVA COUNTY, Ala (WDNews) – Geneva County Public Fishing Lake in south Alabama is set to reopen on June 27, 2024. Located 15 miles northwest of Geneva at 2308 County Rd. 63 in Coffee Springs, the facility offers two lakes covering 65 surface acres.

The lake features public restrooms, a covered fishing pier, and a boat ramp. Visitors can purchase bait, fishing tackle, and snacks on-site. A valid fishing license and a daily $3 fishing permit are required.

Managed by the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR), Alabama’s State Public Fishing Lakes provide quality fishing for species like largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, channel catfish, and crappie.
