Woman Found Dead as Missing Person Case Ends Tragically in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY, Ala (WDNews) -On June 3rd, at approximately 8 a.m., the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a report about a possible missing person, identified as Crystal Sharie Jarvis, 39. Investigators with the Henry County Task Force promptly initiated a search at locations Jarvis was known to frequent.

By 11:50 a.m., Task Force investigators discovered a deceased female in the 2500 block of Calhoun Drive. The individual was identified as Crystal Sharie Jarvis. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has requested an autopsy by the Alabama Department of Forensic Science to determine the cause of death.

In their ongoing investigation, the Henry County Task Force has interviewed witnesses, executed search warrants, and taken one person of interest into custody on unrelated charges. Authorities urge anyone with information concerning this case to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 334-585-3131.
