Family Concerned as Missing Tallassee, AL. Resident’s Disappearance Enters Second Week

The family of 60-year-old Michael Randall Thompson from Tallassee is growing increasingly worried as more than a week passes without any sign of him. Thompson, described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, was last seen leaving a family gathering in Eclectic, AL on Sunday, April 14, around 1 p.m.

Thompson’s relatives express deep concern, emphasizing that it’s out of character for him to travel without informing them. Their worry intensified when they noticed his absence and discovered his 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee missing from his residence. Despite the discovery of his vehicle in Macon County, there’s been no trace of Thompson himself.

Adding to the distress, Thompson’s wallet and possible bloodstains were found at his house on April 17. Compounding the situation, his family reveals that Thompson is battling cancer and has been without his medication for days.

Authorities urge anyone with information about Michael Randall Thompson’s whereabouts to contact the Tallassee Police Department at 334-283-6586 or CrimeStoppers at 334-215-7867.
