Florida Investigators Connect Deadly Carjacking to Tow Truck Driver’s Shooting

A Car on a Tow Truck

In a significant breakthrough, Florida investigators have connected a deadly carjacking to the shooting death of a tow truck driver, as disclosed by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation into the April 10 death of a tow truck driver in Orange County and the April 11 death of a woman in Seminole County uncovered a vital link—a rare 2002 green Acura, one of only three in the state. Additionally, the use of uncommon 10 mm rounds in both shootings further strengthens the connection, indicating a possible common perpetrator. The suspect is considered Armed and Dangerous.
