Dothan Preparatory Academy’s Mr. Longshore Honored in Washington, D.C.

Dothan’s educational star, Mr. Charles Longshore, Assistant Principal at Dothan Preparatory Academy, recently shone brightly at the NASSP’s Trailblazing Leadership Week in Washington, D.C. Named Alabama’s Assistant Principal of the Year by the AASSP, Mr. Longshore’s dedication and innovation were celebrated on a national stage.

Reflecting on the experience, Mr. Longshore shared, “It was the most amazing professional experience of my career.” Engaging with educators and NASSP board members, he discovered shared challenges and celebrated successes, returning home inspired to elevate his administration even further.
