In a recent meeting with city officials, Dothan City Schools (DCS) Superintendent Dr. Dennis Coe appealed for $5 million in additional funding.

With COVID relief funds set to expire at the fiscal year’s end, Coe emphasized the necessity to maintain student progress and prevent program cuts.

During the Tuesday session, Mayor Mark Saliba assured that a decision regarding the funding request would be forthcoming.
