The Dale County Board of Education voted on Tuesday to rename the Rebel’s baseball field after a legendary coach. Former Head Coach Earl Miller brought 10 state championship titles to G.W. Long in a 16-year span from 1991-2005. Miller racked up several honors including 3 Coach of the Year awards from the Alabama Sports Writers Association.
