Alabama gas prices are holding steady this week. Triple-a has the statewide average at $2-81 per gallon, the same price as last week but still 45-cents cheaper than a year ago. Dothan’s average rose by a penny this week to $2-83 per gallon. Analysts say higher crude oil prices and lower u-s gasoline supply are the biggest culprits in the rising pump price.
