As parts of Cottonwood begin to reopen, the community is preparing for another round of potential damaging storms this morning. Although forecasters say there is less of a chance of severe weather after the track of the system shifted from earlier reports, a wind advisory goes into effect later this morning with gusts possible up to 40mph.
