The new year is starting off with lower gas prices in in Alabama. Aaa shows the average price for regular gasoline across the state is at $2-79 per gallon, 2 cents less than a week ago and 24 cents cheaper than a year ago. Dothan’s average also fell 2 cents this week to $2-81 per gallon. The National average is at $3-03 per gallon today.
